Kinetic Environmental Ltd. has an opportunity on our Calgary sites for an Abatement Foreperson to be the point of contact between the construction workers and supervisors. A few of the main duties of a foreman are coordinating tasks for the day, creating schedules for workers, and overseeing the quality of the site. They also must report the progress of the project to superiors (QA/QC).

The wage band for this position is $35.00-$39.00 an hour and based on relevant skills and experience.

Position Specifications

Qualifications

  • ALBERTA – Occupation Health & Safety for the Asbestos Worker Certificate - Required
  • 3+ years’ abatement experience
  • Deep knowledge of the construction and abatement industry and processes

Knowledge skills and abilities

  • Attention to detail and precision
  • Ability to constantly plan and track progress
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate
  • Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints
  • Practices, procedures, techniques in the Construction Trades tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control and safety.
