Kinetic Construction Ltd. has an opportunity within our Vancouver branch for a Proposal Manager to:

  1. Ensure that all proposals are submitted on time, meet all client requirements, and are of high quality, resulting in a high win rate for new projects.
  2. Develop and implement streamlined proposal processes and best practices, leading to increased efficiency and reduced turnaround times for proposal development.
  3. Foster strong collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams, ensuring that all necessary information and inputs are gathered effectively for each proposal.
  4. Maintain positive relationships with clients by addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally, leading to high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
  5. Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to ensure proposals are competitive and aligned with current industry trends and client expectations.
  6. Regularly review and refine proposal strategies and content, incorporating feedback and lessons learned from previous proposals to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of future submissions.

The salary band for this position is $67,000 - $99,900 and is based on relevant skills and experience.

Position Specifications

Qualifications

  • In depth knowledge of business, marketing, sales support, administration, construction
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the AEC sector
  • 10+ years’ working with senior management

Knowledge skills and abilities

  • At least three years of proposal writing experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze requirements to create compliant and responsive content in proposal submissions
  • Strong communicator, relationship builder and business partner
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced and performance driven setting where meeting deadlines in a timely and accurate manner is essential.
  • Strong English language and writing skills, including attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit material, as well as an aptitude for understanding technical terminology
  • Advanced MS Office user
  • Intermediate to advanced Adobe Create Suite user
