Kinetic Construction Ltd. has an opportunity within our Vancouver branch for a Technical Proposal Writer to:
- Develop high-quality, persuasive proposals that communicate the company’s capabilities and win new business contracts.
- Establish and maintain consistent documentation standards, ensuring all business development materials are clear, concise, and professional.
- Develop and manage a repository of templates, case studies, and other resources to support the business development team in their efforts.
- Facilitate better communication between technical teams and business development, translating complex technical information into easily understandable content for clients and stakeholders.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new clients.
- Maintain consistency in the company’s messaging and branding across all written materials, reinforcing the company’s identity and values
The wage band for this position ranges from $66,600-$99,900 annually and is based on relevant skills and experience.

Position Specifications
- Post-secondary degree of diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent
- 3 years of progressive experience in a proposal role or in a related role ie: communications, marketing, visual communications
- Strong project management, organizational and time management skills to effectively establish the priority and scheduling or work tasks.
- Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills. Ability to produce grammatically sound written communication with a customer focus.
- Strong working knowledge of proposal fundamentals and best practices.
- Ability to execute a lean, quality pursuit process and participate in a strategy session.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of industry practices and new developments (construction process, delivery models, contract types).
- Competent InDesign layout skills; competent functionality within Adobe Suite of programs (i.e. Photoshop, PPT, Illustrator, etc.) with ability to create brand compliant visual content.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud and other relevant marketing software systems.
