Kinetic Construction Ltd. has an opportunity within our Victoria Branch for a BIM/VDC Specialist. This position will be responsible for the implementation of BIM/VDC-related technology and services. This position will work closely with the project teams to lead and assist in project delivery throughout the design and construction phases.

Wage Band Range is $75,000 to $100,908 annually

Position Specifications

• Post-Secondary education in Architecture or Engineering is preferred

• In-depth knowledge of BIM & VDC services, standards, and implementation

• 5+ years of production experience in design, drafting or engineering

• 1+ year working for a General Contractor

• Prior experience in the Construction Industry is considered an asset

• Ability to train other employees on various BIM tools and software

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to use time productively, maximizing efficiency and meet challenging work goals

• Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standards of conduct from self and others

• Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, email, web-enabled applications, and database software

• Must be a self-starter and possess the drive to pursue continued education in BIM & VDC

• Possess the ability to work well as part of a team and independently
